UI Design
Ledger aims to democratize access to digital asset trading by providing a modern, intuitive, and user-friendly stock trading platform. Our goal is to empower traders and investors of all experience levels with smart analytics, personalized portfolios, staking, and seamless exchange features - helping them make confident financial decisions.
I joined the project at an early stage as part of an outsourced design team, working as a Senior UI/UX Designer. Using 36 user interviews provided by the UX researcher, I extracted key findings and created a user persona to guide design decisions. Considering main pain points and objectives, I collaborated with the team to develop the user flow and the application's information architecture based on product requirements. Additionally, I actively contributed to the UI design, helping the team deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
The Problem
Cryptocurrency trading remains overly complex and intimidating for many users, particularly beginners. The core challenge is to design an experience that simplifies the trading process without oversimplifying it - striking the right balance between usability and transparency.

For example, when asking for personal information, “Legal name” is presented as its own step. This way, we’re not hiding complexity - we’re sequencing it. The flow is supported by friendly illustrations and automated verification features wherever possible, making the process smoother, faster, and more engaging.

When designing this crypto portfolio dashboard, my goal was to balance data density with emotional impact. Users start with a clear snapshot of their total asset value, highlighted gains or losses for the day, and a simple reassurance that they’re “in the green” or “in the red.”
From there, users can dive deeper: interactive charts let them scrub through real-time performance, compare across timeframes, and switch between different assets.
By emphasizing control, transparency, and emotional calm, the experience helps traders respond faster to shifts in the market.
